Esessence are committed to taking steps to a more eco-friendly world and a sustainable way of living.

We are delighted to announce that we are committed to planting a tree for every product sold through our website, in partnership with climate action social enterprise, Ecologi.

We took our time in finding the correct partner for this project and are very proud to say that Ecologi fit the bill in total transparency around their projects and spending.

Ecologi is an environmental organisation committed to taking real climate action. With a mission to reduce 50% of global CO2 emissions by 2040 and responsibly plant billions of trees every year, Ecologi facilitates the funding of carbon offset projects, planting trees around the world and helping both individuals and businesses to take responsibility and become more climate positive.

As well as investing money in a range of projects that are evidently reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting carbon reduction projects, Ecologi is planting millions of diverse and native trees each month in Madagascar, Mozambique and Nicaragua to help tackle the climate crisis and work towards preventing ecological collapse. The tree-planting project, in partnership with Eden Reforestation, also helps to provide essential support for communities and reduce poverty by employing local workers.

Glass

The beautiful, apothecary glass that we use across our product range is fully recyclable and we encourage all of our customers to repurpose them any way you can.

Packaging

Our labels and cardboard are fully recyclable. Our cardboard is made from FSC certified sources and is traceable to origin. Our labels can simply be peeled off and added to your paper recycling.
